The tastings of the 23rd Mondial des Pinots took place in Sierre from 4 to 6 September 2020. During these 3 days, the 58 jurors, half of whom were foreigners, evaluated 1132 wines from 21 different countries. The indigenous vintages came out well ahead in the table of rewards and won the 6 Grand Gold medals awarded this year and 74 of the 92 gold medals. The other charms are divided between Germany (11), France (4), Argentina, Spain and Hungary, which each received a distinction. The special awards, the podium of the Gran Maestro category and the various diplomas will be unveiled on December 11th in Zermatt at an exceptional awards ceremony followed by a tasting of the award-winning wines open to the public.
