the results of one of the most prestigious international wine competitions in Central Europe have arrived. The 22nd VinAgora International Wine Competition received 960 samples from 16 wine-producing countries – a new record. The outstanding quality of the wines required a lot of attention from the 60 jury members. 80% of the samples received a score corresponding to a silver medal quality, that is, at least 83 points. However, according to the rules of OIV and VINOFED, only the best 30% of wines in each main category are allowed to win a medal. Based on the medal score limits finalized accordingly, 13 Grand Gold, 169 Gold, 108 Silver medals, 7 main-category-winner Champion awards, and another 23 special prizes have been awarded.
