Pinot Blanc from the Czech Republic wins Best Wine of Mondial des Pinots 2021

The tasting sessions of the 24th Mondial des Pinots competition were held place in Sierre from 27 – 29 August, featuring 1037 entries from 335 producers and 20 different countries. The 47 judges from 15 different countries were impressed by the wines and awarded no less than 10 Grand Gold medals, 154 Gold and 143 Silver. The competition saw another first, with a Pinot Blanc winning multiple awards. Produced by Znovin Znojmo (Moravia, Czech Republic), Pinot Blanc Rulandska bilé 2018 won not only a Grand Gold medal and the title of Best Pinot Blanc, but also the Best Wine of the Competition award with an exceptional score of 93.6/100.
