With a record number of samples and attendance, the 27th edition of the Catad'Or World Wine Awards and Catad'Or World Spirits Awards comes to an end, with 1,300 samples of wines and spirits from 20 countries around the world.

In front of a massive audience, Catad'Or rewards the best in Chile and the world and holds a parallel wine and spirits fair open to the public.

This November 5, at the Monticello Convention Center and with the presence of more than 350 attendees from the wine and spirits industry, authorities, ambassadors and representatives of foreign countries, correspondents and national press, the award ceremony for the 27th edition of the contest, together with a large wine and spirits fair open to the public, Catad'Or Hall of Medals.

The ceremony was also attended by the international jury, which brought together 70 experts from 15 countries, chaired by Alistair Cooper MW, Master of Wine from the United Kingdom, and Aina Mee Myhre MW, Master of Wine from Norway. , Fernando Gurucharri, president of Vinofed and the Union of Tasters of Spain, and Toshio Ueno Master Sake of Japan, as well as oenologists, sommeliers and educators.

The 27th edition of the Catad'Or World Wine Awards, the contest with the greatest influence and reputation in South America, awarded a total of 329 medals, 27 Grand Gold medals, 275 Gold medals, 27 Silver medals, as well as 13 special trophies by category and the Vinofed trophies. Meanwhile, Catad'Or World Spirits Awards awarded 91 medals, 9 Grand Gold medals, 71 Gold medals, 11 Silver medals and 8 special trophies.
